Bird Puppet

What you will need:

1 large paper plate
½ large paper plate
Four feathers
Stapler
Coloured markers
2 goggle eyes
Glue
2 small orange or yellow paper triangles
Wooden skewer

Instructions:
1. Fold the half paper plate into a cone to make the head

2. Fold the top of the whole paper plate into a point to make the two wings

3. Fold the top of the point down then staple the head onto the body (staple over the area where the two sides of the cone overlap to make sure the cone keeps its shape)

4. Glue one feather onto the folds for the wings

5. Ask an adult to poke a hole in the top of your birds head with the wooden skewer and poke the ends of the remaining two feathers through

6. Stick the triangles at the bottom of your birds body for the feet

7. Colour in the beak stick on the goggle eyes and decorate the rest of your bird with the coloured markers
