Art Anarchy was born from a love of art and craft. The dreamers of this idea were Celeste Astudillo and Melissa Cupidon, 2 sisters who have grown up on the Mornington Peninsula and have a great love of art in all of its varying forms.
Celeste has completed her Bachelor of Arts majoring in History and Visual Culture through Monash University in 2011. This exposed her to many different art forms from Pop Culture through to Fine Arts. She is currently completing her Masters in Art Curatorship at The University of Melbourne.
Melissa, a mother of two children aged 3 and 5 has a direct understanding that children have an innate love of art and craft but that the facilities are not always available for you to help your children explore their creativity. She has her Certificate III in children’s services and is also currently employed at Bentons Square Preschool as a Co-Educator on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula,
Melissa currently runs the Arty Crafty Parties and simply loves making your child’s day as special as possible. She understands that each child is an individual, so instead of having packages with different themes that you can chose from she will tailor the activity to suit YOUR child’s individuality and interests.
Both Melissa and Celeste have also had experience running crafty sessions in shopping centre and show environments for large volumes of children so if you have an event coming up and you would like to include some fantastic arty crafty fun then please contact us and we will discuss your requirements.
As sisters we both have a passion and desire to share our love of art with young children and we hope that through Art Anarchy we can achieve this!!
